PARKING FINES- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. Why do I get a letter after such a long time?

The ticket travels between several entities. First, it is being sent to the rental company, after being checked the rental company sends it to the municipality. In view of this there is no charge for interest or penalty.

  2. Why doesn't the rental company charge my credit card with the ticket?

According to Israeli law they are not allowed to. This would be tantamount to admitting guilt on your behalf, something which you may not agree to.

  3. I think I paid this ticket to the rental company.

No. The rental company is not allowed to charge you with tickets. They may have charged you with "handling fees" for the procedure in question 1.

  4. The car was towed to a public parking lot. I paid in order to release it. Why am I being asked to pay the ticket?

Payment for the release of the towed car does not include payment of the ticket itself. The payment for the ticket has not been paid.

  5. I think I paid the ticket directly to the municipality or to you. Can you check?

Gladly. Please send us our file number (in the letter), and proof of payment. We shall check and revert

    in the ticket.
